As a VC Analyst, you will work directly with the investment team across the full deal cycle, from sourcing to portfolio value creation. Your responsibilities will include:
Sourcing and screening deeptech opportunities: mapping technologies and markets, meeting founders, and building an investment pipeline aligned with our three pillars.
Due diligence: assessing technology readiness, market size and dynamics, competitive positioning, business models, and management teams.
Financial analysis and modelling: building valuation and cap table models, running scenario and return analyses, and preparing investment committee memos.
Transaction support: assisting on structuring, legal documentation and closing alongside our advisors.
Portfolio monitoring and operational support: tracking KPIs, preparing reporting, and contributing hands-on to value-creation initiatives with management teams.
Market intelligence: producing sector research and thought leadership on advanced and deep technologies.
Master's degree from a top-tier engineering school, business school or university, ideally with a scientific or technical background. We are looking for outstanding academic and professional track records.
Previous experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, transaction services, strategy consulting, or a deeptech start-up. AI skills/experience are an asset.
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with genuine intellectual curiosity for advanced and deep technologies; alternatively, a legal background in corporate finance.
Ability to grasp complex technologies quickly and translate them into an investment memo.
Rigour, autonomy, and a hands-on mindset: you are comfortable operating in a small, entrepreneurial team.
